This is how the giant candlesticks start. First this is to balance wood on the lathe before you can begin turning.

This is going to be a chunky candlestick with a copper top. Not sure what the wood is yet, just started turning it ... and now you can see it on the front page. This was a particularly difficult piece to turn as the wood but the final candlestick is, I think, fabulous
